This Subordinate Clause tells us the purpose or aim of the action
happening in the main/ principal clause.
এ Subordinate Clause, Main Clause এর ক্রিয়া সংঘটিত হওয়ার লক্ষ্য বা উদ্দেশ্য সম্পর্কে
বলে।
Adverb Clause of Purpose
is generally introduced with that, in
order that, so that, lest etc.
1. We read more in order that
we may learn more.
আমরা বেশি পড়ি যেন আমরা বেশি
জানতে পারি।
Adverb clause of Purpose is ‘in order that we may learn more’.
It tells us the aim/ purpose of the action in the main
